Morgan Ashenfelter is an American freelance writer, currently living in Berlin, Germany. She has written for the Scripps Howard Newswire, Philadelphia Magazine and numerous online publications in both the US and Europe. Her photography has appeared in National Geographic’s Glimpse magazine.
Morgan writes about travel, international affairs and politics and society, focusing on German current events and history. She has backpacked throughout Europe and Turkey and has done volunteer work in Australia. A native Philadelphian, she has also lived in Vienna, Austria. She studied Journalism, African American Studies and German language at Temple University in Philadelphia.
